CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Thank you for planning a rafting trip with us! Please be informed that when you reserve space on a trip and submit your payment to Orion River Expeditions you are receiving an ASSURED/GUARANTEED RESERVATION and agree to the following conditions:

When we reserve your space(s) for a trip we are committing the trip space(s) to you and must remove the space(s) from the market. We cannot overbook trips or double-sell spaces anticipating no shows. If you fail to show, or cancel very close to the trip date, it is virtually impossible for us to fill your vacated space(s).

If you are unable to attend you may substitute another person(s) into your reserved space(s) without penalty. Any transference of reserved spaces is subject to the outlined policy and you agree that your payment applies to the substituting party to which you have transferred your reservation. If you are late and miss the designated meeting time for your trip launch you will not be able to raft since launches are strictly regulated. The governing agencies do not allow random launches, convenience launches or combining trips that exceed permit capacity.

Please understand that we are required to maintain permits allowing us to raft the rivers on which we conduct trips. The agencies that govern the rivers limit trip capacity, the number of trip launches per date, and, strictly forbid overselling of trip capacity. If you must cancel your reservation it is imperative that you do so in advance of the trip date if at all possible…for some rivers we are required to notify the governing agencies of non-utilized capacity in advance of trips. Orion River Expeditions can be fined and/or
penalized for any permit infraction.

We highly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation insurance. Affordable coverage is available through Travel Insured International, Inc. at 800-243-3174 (http://www.travelinsured.com/Default.aspx) who provides trip cancellation, accident, illness, and baggage protection covering the cost of your rafting trip, lodging, airfare, etc., and reimbursement for the non-refundable portion of your arrangements in the event you must cancel your
trip for a reason covered by the policy.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you cancel before our 30-day deadline, we will refund your entire payment minus a single $25 cancellation fee. There are NO REFUNDS within 30 days of the trip date. If your trip is cancelled by Orion River Expeditions for safety reasons, your trip will be moved to a more appropriate day or river. No refunds will be given if these conditions arise.

IMPORTANT NOTE
Discount coupons are based on Orion River Exepdtions' INDIVIDUAL rate of $90/person for one-day trips, and may not be used with Group Discounts, Special Offers or multi-day river trips.
