Skagit River Family Rafting Trips
Class II - III Whitewater :: Easy :: Suitable for all ages 6 +
The Magic Skagit :: Introductory River :: Scenic Cascades :: Mild Rapids

The Skagit River is the ideal introductory river raft trip for people who are uncertain if whitewater rafting will be an activity they will love. Kids and grandparents are welcome to join us on a river affectionately referred to as ‘The Magic Skagit’ for 8 miles of easy riffles and currents, punctuated by a quarter mile of raucous, Class III rollercoaster waves. The emerald green water, lush forests and breathtaking mountain ridges add to what is easily one of the prettiest float trips in the country. The best time to raft the Skagit River is August to take advantage of the warmest summer temperatures in the Pacific Northwest.

This is going to be used for some type of call-to-action.

Goodell Creek Rapids

Bouncy, good-for-a-smile Class II+ riffles and waves immediately after launching from Goodell Creek Campground.

Looky Loo Rapids

Class II boulder field beside Highway 20 where you are likely to be photographed by tourists.

Dolly Parton Rapids
The river narrows and suddenly drops in to a chute of exhilarating Class III standing waves.

Yossarian Rapids

Another stretch of exciting whitecaps but, this time, the river takes an abrupt left turn.

Maybe, Maybe Not Hole
Depending on the water level and the makeup of the raft you may challenge this wave, or you may skirt it way to the right.
